Growing up in California, Los Angeles played a pivotal role in shaping the themes and styles I produce in my visual and verbal works. From my early writing days exploring California Modernism, to producing extensive city guides, to spending years capturing moments of LA’s distinctive, golden light — I feel a profound connection to the city. Participating in this fundraiser is a way to give back to a city that has given so much to artists and storytellers.
